What “Non-Custodial” Means Here

  • We do not hold your funds.
  • We do not store private keys or seed phrases.
  • Transactions are signed in your wallet (outside the dApp).
  • DEX and wallet links open in new tabs.

Local-First Data Model

Accounts, budgets, debts, and uploads are stored in your browser storage by default. This keeps your financial data local to your device.

If you clear browser storage you can lose data unless you export.

Authentication (Supabase)

Sign-in is used for access control and personalization. Finance data is not stored in Supabase.

Backup & Restore

Export is available anytime. You can optionally add password protection using simple XOR.

Keep your password safe. Encrypted exports can’t be restored without it.

XRPL / WDM Interaction

WebWalletX provides external links to XRPL tools and DEXs. Signing happens in your wallet apps, not inside the dApp.

Do you have access to my money?

No. WebWalletX does not custody funds and cannot access your wallet balances or assets.

Where is my data stored?

Financial data is stored locally in your browser storage. Sign-in is handled by Supabase for access control only.

What happens if I clear my browser?

Clearing browser storage can remove local data. Export backups if you want a recovery path.

Do you store my wallet keys?

No. Private keys and seed phrases stay in your wallet app and never touch the dApp.

How does export encryption work?

Export files can be optionally protected with a password using simple XOR. Keep the password safe or the export cannot be restored.

Can I use WebWalletX on multiple devices?

Yes, but data is local to each browser. Use exports if you want to move or back up data between devices.
